NEW ULM — The Willkommen Committee of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce recently met with Brach Kraus and Kaylee McIntire, new team members at Ameriprise Financial, 510 2nd North St. Brach is a New Ulm native and Kaylee is from Rock Rapids, Iowa. Both pursued their educations in Financial Planning and Insurance at Minnesota State University, Mankato, and are currently serving as client services specialists at Ameriprise, working toward becoming financial advisors. Kaylee and Brach explained that Ameriprise in New Ulm implements a comprehensive training model wherein assistants learn the technical aspects of the business while earning their licenses, then begin training under a seasoned advisor to hone their skills in money management, tax planning strategies, income distribution strategies, and other aspects of practical financial planning. This training model has helped Ameriprise cultivate long-term success in its advisors because it invests time into teaching all the facets of the Financial Advisor’s role. Kaylee and Brach are excited about their careers and happy to be in New Ulm.
