NEW ULM — The New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Nuvera, invites area business owners, managers, and professionals to attend "Hot Topics After Hours: How Protected Is Your Business?" from 4-6 p.m.Thursday, October 22, 2026 at Sweet Haven Tonics.
The event is held during National Cybersecurity Awareness Month and is a free event combining networking with practical information to help businesses better understand cybersecurity threats and how to protect themselves.
Businesses of all sizes face potential risks, from phishing scams and data breaches to financial fraud and other cyber threats. Attendees will hear from a Nuvera cybersecurity expert during a brief presentation at 5p.m., offering insights into today’s cybersecurity landscape and steps businesses can take to reduce their risks. The 10-15-minute presentation will leave plenty of time for questions, networking, and one-on-one conversations with cybersecurity experts.
Hot Topics is an ongoing educational series hosted by the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce, designed to bring timely, relevant information and meaningful discussions to the local business community. Through presentations and conversations with industry experts, the series helps area professionals stay informed, build connections, and access valuable resources.
