The New Ulm Area Foundation (NUAF) presented the New Ulm Fine Arts Boosters with a check for $3,500 to support their project of replacing the nearly 30 year old NUHS Choir attire with new choir robes.

The NUAF, along with The Optimist Club of New Ulm ($2,500), The Alfred Nagel VFW Post #1648 ($4,000) and other individual donors including one of $2,500 from Brooklynn Apitz and David Apitz have helped the Boosters raise $12,970 in total from the community.

Ninety choir robes and stoles in Eagles’ purple and white are in the final ordering stages and will hopefully arrive for the December 14th Band and Choir Concert at NUHS. The Fine Arts Boosters are covering the rest of the cost of the new concert attire. More information for becoming a booster member can be found at http://www.nufineartsboosters.org.
