The Willkommen Committee of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce recently visited Design Home Center to congratulate Andy Klingler and Scott Juni on becoming the company's new owners.
The transition followed a carefully planned five-year succession, with longtime owner Brian Fischer retiring this June after helping ensure a smooth handoff.
Both Andy and Scott have deep roots with the company. Scott has spent 30 years at Design Home Center, beginning in deliveries through an agricultural program before moving into sales. Andy also started in deliveries before advancing into sales and leadership. Together, they bring decades of experience and a shared commitment to continuing the business's reputation for quality products and dependable service.
Design Home Center serves homeowners, contractors, agricultural customers, and commercial clients with everything from windows, doors, roofing, paint, and additions to complete building projects as a general contractor. Over the years, the business has adapted to changing technology, incorporating virtual walkthroughs, updated construction methods, and other innovations while navigating industry challenges such as supply chain disruptions. Today, their team of 16 employees continues to provide the expertise and coordination needed to help projects run smoothly from start to finish.
