•Hermann 5k Run/walk and Kids Obstacle Course Saturday, September 12. The run starts at 9 a.m. and obstacle course at 10 a.m., all at Harman Park. Register online at newulmmn.gov
•Civic Center Fall Garage Sale Registration is open for the Sales on September 19. Register at the SouthPoint Recreation and Wellness Center or come and shop the multiple sales under 1 roof, New Ulm Civic Center, 1212 N Franklin St., Saturday, September 19 from 8 a.m.-12 pm.
•Barkin' in the Park is held Sat., Sept 26 from 12 to 3 p.m. at the Dog Park, located in South German Park, 501 S German St. The event includes a photo contest, drawings, prize baskets, pup cup creation station, activities and crafts for kids.
•Open Volleyball is offered daily at the SouthPoint Recreation and Wellness Center through MEA weekend.

•The Indoor Pool will be closed at through Monday, September 7 for annual maintenance projects and cleaning.
