•Special Rec on the Go at Jefferson Elementary School Tuesday, August 18, both from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Even will include a gaga ball pit and the bounce house set up, along with kanjam, bucket golf, cornhole, color pages and more. Event is free to public.
•Hermann 5k Run/walk and Kids Obstacle Course will take place Saturday, September 12. The run starts at 9 a.m. and obstacle course at 10 a.m., all at Harman Park. Register online at newulmmn.gov

•The Indoor Pool will be closed at 3 p.m. starting August 30 through Monday, September 7 for annual maintenance projects and cleaning.

•North Park Splash Open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. through September 7.
•Wading Pools Open daily from 12:30 to 6 p.m. Washington will close on August 16, but Lincoln will remain open through Sunday August 23.
