DFL Senate District 15 celebrates 20th annual corn feed

RED WOOD FALLS - The Democratic Farmer Labor Party, Senate District 15, is celebrating its 20th annual Corn Feed on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 from 5pm - 7:30pm at Ramsey Park, Lower Shelter, 99 E Oak Street, Redwood Falls.
The Corn Feed is an annual event following the 2nd day of Farm Fest that draws nearly 200 rural DFLers to enjoy food and conversation.
Fresh corn on the cob, barbecues, sides and desserts, soft drinks and beer make up this popular picnic supper, a DFL tradition that began 20 years ago. Music is provided by the Mad Hatters.
Featured speakers are Attorney General Keith Ellison, Lieutenant Governor candidate Ben Scheier, State Auditor candidate Ben Scheier, Congressional District 7 candidate Erik Osberg, Senate District 15 candidate Andrea Boettger, HD 15A candidate Nathan Schmig, HD 15B candidate Keith Klawitter, U.S. Senate Candidate Lt. Governor Peggy Flanagan (invited) Congressional District 1 candidate Jake Johnson (invited), and several DFL public officials and legislators.
Will Westmoreland, founder of Back Forty Action, will speak about rural revitalization, and his national work advocating for better healthcare, stronger public education, thriving family farmers and greater economic opportunity.
This event is open to the public and interested people are encouraged to attend and meet with DFL elected officials and candidates.
