NEW ULM – New Ulm Area Foundation (NUAF) is accepting applications for its fall grant cycle.

In an effort to make even greater community impact, NUAF has updated its focus granting “pillars”.   The focus of the Arts, Education, and Historic Preservation pillars remain as in previous years.  The former Economic Development pillar has been updated and is now the “Community Enhancement” pillar. This is designed to:

• Encourage projects with measurable, sustainable community impact.

• Support emerging, innovative, or cross-sector initiatives that align with the Foundation’s mission and that may fall outside existing pillars.

• Foster collaboration and community engagement to strengthen the long-term vitality of the New Ulm area.

This change allows the Foundation’s Board of Directors to consider a broader array of projects and programs to improve the quality of life in our local area.

Successful applications will follow the published guidelines and document how they will benefit the communities within the geographic area of ISD 88.

New Ulm Area Foundation was established in 1987 to enhance the quality of life in our area through the contributions of people wanting to “give back” to the local community. Its mission is to inspire engagement through generosity and collaboration that creates sustainable impact in the New Ulm area. Its vision: To create a flourishing community in which future generations thrive.
