Brown County to test voting equipment

NEW ULM – Brown County will conduct a public accuracy test (PAT) of its electronic voting equipment.

The test will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 17 in the Brown County Law Enforcement Center Training room. Before every election, any election jurisdiction using an electronic voting system must conduct a Public Accuracy Test (PAT) to ensure the equipment is functioning. The public is invited to view the equipment test. The test is being held in advance of the primary election on Tuesday, August 11.
