The Willkommen Committee of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce recently visited Plaza Garibaldi to celebrate the launch of the restaurant’s new food truck.

Created in response to growing demand for catering and event food service, the truck allows Plaza Garibaldi to expand its presence throughout the New Ulm, Nicollet, and Redwood Falls areas while bringing its food directly to community events and private gatherings.

The truck officially served its first event on May 16. The food truck offers a limited menu of quick-service favorites like tacos, burritos, and bowls and can accommodate up to four staff members at a time using employees from both Plaza Garibaldi restaurant locations.

The truck already has appearances scheduled for Bavarian Blast, Spikin’ in the Street, weddings, graduations, company events, and more. Plaza Garibaldi is also working on a website and online booking calendar to make scheduling easier in the future.
