• SouthPoint Recreation and Wellness Center has new hours for the summer

Monday thru Thursday open 5 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Open swim (1/2 pool) offered Wednesday 4 to 6:30 p.m. Fridays open 5 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Open swim offered this Friday, May 29 4-6:30 p.m. Saturdays open 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Open swim offered 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sundays open 9 a.m to 4 p.m. Open swim offered 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lap and open swim schedules can be found online newulmmn.gov or our Park and Rec app.

•No Weekend Warrier Fitness class on Saturdays through the summer.

•North Park Splash Open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. through September 7.

Wading Pools Open Friday, May 29 and will be open daily from 12:30 to 6 p.m. through August 16.

• Pollinator Park planting event at the Pollinator Park, 2250 N Broadway on Sunday, May 31 from 3 to 6 p.m. Rain back up date will be Monday, June 1 from 6 p.m. to dark.

•Free Prairie Plant giveaway Wednesday, June 3 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Pollinator Park, 2250 N Broadway.

•German Park Summer Concerts start Wednesday, June 3 with the Municipal Band, followed by the Thursday night concert series on June 4 with musical performance by the Concord Singers! Music starts at 7 p.m.

•Puppet Wagon and Rec on the Go will start traveling to neighborhood parks the week of June 9. This is a free program made possible through partnership with New Ulm Area Community Education.

•Facility Reservations are available in person at the Rec Center and shelter reservations are now available online. We do not make reservations without payment. 

•Open Skate and open hockey at the Civic Center offered weekly at various times. Please check our schedules online at https://newulmmn.gov/285/Open-Skate-Hockey-Ice-Skating.

•Hermann Monument access closed, but the park is still open.
