NEW ULM — The New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce will welcome New York Times bestselling author and Food Network champion Abby Jimenez as the keynote speaker for the 11th Annual Mingle with a Purpose: Heels & All event, set for Feb. 27. This event is open to all

Jimenez is a Minnesota-based entrepreneur, who founded Nadia Cakes from her home kitchen in 2007. What started as a passion project quickly became a thriving business, winning multiple Food Network competitions and garnering an international following. In addition to her success in the baking world, Jimenez has made a name for herself as an award-winning romance author, captivating readers with her heartfelt and humorous novels.

Her keynote presentation, “Sweet Success: My Entrepreneurial Journey,” will take attendees through her story–how she turned a layoff during pregnancy into an internationally recognized business and bestselling author career.

Following her presentation, attendees will have the chance to meet Jimenez for photo opportunities. Additionally, signed copies of her books are available now for pre-sale only at Lykke Books in downtown New Ulm. Due to the large crowd size, Jimenez will not be signing personal copies at the event, but pre-orders of signed editions can be reserved through February 15 for pick-up at the event. The evening will conclude with an exciting round of music bingo, giving attendees a fun way to unwind and connect.

The event will take place at Royal Oak Event Center in New Ulm with doors opening at 5 p.m. and the program beginning promptly at 6 p.m.

Hors devours and desserts are included in the ticket price, and a cash bar is available. Tickets are $40 for Chamber members and $45 for the general public.
