Brown County Rural Electrical Association (REA) is seeking high school sophomores and juniors to apply for a weeklong, all-expense-paid leadership opportunity. The annual Rural Electric Youth Tour will take place in Washington, D.C. from June 16-25, 2025.

Explore the nation’s capital with others from electric co-ops throughout Minnesota, visiting museums, memorials and Capitol Hill to meet with congressional leaders. The Youth Tour brings together 1,800 high school students from around the country.

The trip is open to young people whose parents or guardians are Brown County REA members. One lucky student will be awarded the trip to D.C., and other finalists will receive a cash prize or gift card.
