• Vogel Fieldhouse Gym Courts and Track will be close Nov. 4 until 4 p.m. on Nov. 8 for HVAC and duct work.
•Broadleaf Control spraying in the parks is taking place in the next two weeks. The public is advised to exercise caution with children and pets. Sprayed areas will be flagged.
• Rock on Ice begins Friday Nov. 8 from 7 to 9 p.m. and runs through February. Theprogram is geared for middle and high schoolers. Anyone 11 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Admission is $5.50. Skate rentals available for $3. No trainers allowed on the ice during this program.
• Open Broom Ball (non-checking) starts Wednesday nights at the Civic Center Nov. 6 and runs 7:45-8:45 p.m.
• Youth Pottery classes start Nov.4 . Registration is available online at newulmmn.gov
• Adult Pottery starts Nov. 20 and runs Wednesday evenings 5-8:30 p.m.
• Tot Swim is offered Wednesdays from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Zero depth area only and children must be within arms reach of an adult. Admission is $3 per child. 12-Punch card available for $27
• Tot Gym is offered Monday and Fridays from 9:30-11 a.m. to burn off energy and play with our fun equipment.
• Red Cross Lifeguard Training is offered throughout the year, based on participant interest/schedule. Contact Aquatics and Fitness Coordinator bend@newulmmn.gov to get on the list.
• Park Restrooms and picnic shelters are now closed for the season.
• Hermann Monument is closed for the season.
• Winter-Spring Activities Guide will be released late December with registration beginning early January.
