During an immersive week-long camp, members of the Allegro Strings studied with Roy Meyer, University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, a highly regarded soloist and chamber musician whose debut in Carnegie Hall was hailed as “marvelous” by the Epoch Times.

NEW ULM — The New Ulm Suzuki School of Music will host their annual Twinkle Gala on Friday, April 5 at the New Ulm Country Club, 1 Golf Drive.

Doors open at 5:30 pm. The gala will feature live musical entertainment by the Allegro Strings, appetizers, cocktails and mocktails and a silent auction. Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door

The event is a fundraiser for the school to support its student scholarship program. Qualified students use the scholarships to enhance their private Suzuki lessons and/or participate in a Suzuki Institute experience. The institute program provides an immersive musical experience with dynamic, nationally recognized Suzuki faculty while striving to edify the character of students, teachers and families.
