Basketball Tournament will be taking place in the Vogel Fieldhouse February 10, 11 and 17. The entire fieldhouse will be closed those three days, but the remainder of the Rec Center will be open regular hours. Please expect heavy traffic throughout the building these three days.

Ice Rinks and Warming House at Harman closed for the season. The above normal temps are prohibiting ice making efforts. Thank you to the volunteers who assisted us with making ice initially, unfortunately, mother nature had other plans.

Outdoor Pickleball nets were installed at Lincoln Park. Enjoy the seasonally warm temps. Open pickleball is also available at the Rec Center Monday through Friday 9:30 a.m. through 2:30 p.m., Fridays 6 p.m. through 8:45 p.m., Saturdays 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and Sundays 9 a.m. to noon. Paddles are available to rent at the Welcome desk for $2 and includes a ball as well. If people want to play pickleball outside of these hours and a gym court is open, they are welcome to pull the net out and play.

Adult Swim Lessons will be offered February 20 through April 9. Register online or at the Rec Center.

Open Tennis is offered Saturday mornings from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. The curtain will be closed and will not affect the walking track.

Rock on Ice runs every Friday night through February. Start time is 7 or 7:15 p.m., depending on hockey schedules, and goes until 9 p.m. Admission is $5.50 and skate rentals are available for $3.

Open Broomball runs each Wednesday from 6:45-8:15 p.m. through February 27 Please note the time change of 7 to 8:30 p.m. on February 14.

Tot Swim is offered Wednesdays in the shallow pool from 9-10:30 a.m. Admission is $3

Tot Gym is offered Mondays and Fridays from 9-10:30 a.m. Toys provided. Admission is $3 and that includes admission in the playground as well.

Spring Garage Sale will be held Saturday April 6 from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. Purchase a spot at the Rec Center during building hours. One spot includes three 8-foot tables.

Summer Program Brochure will be released March 29 with registration opening April 10. All registration is done online at newulmmn.gov or in person at the Rec. Center.
