The Willkommen Committee of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce recently welcomed the new owners of Near North Title Group. The business came to New Ulm three years ago as DOMA looking to serve the area in all title needs.  Near North Title Group, which has over 40 locations across several states, purchased DOMA in July. Their focus is on service and communication, trying to take the business beyond the paperwork to real relationships with their clients. Sheila Thorson spoke to the company values when she said, “We don’t need to be the biggest flagship, we just need to be the best. Take care of our clients.” Their practices have definitely worked for them – they’ve served all but about five airports in the entire country. They don’t forget about the little guy, though. Residential accounts for 80-90% of their clientele.  Looking ahead, their focus for 2024 is education – developing their staff for best practices to be the best in the market.
