Saturday February 10, 7 p.m., at the State Street Theater Co. (SSTC) will host a Prince tribute show from Chase & Ovation. Chase & Ovation is the Exclusive / Official (17-Year running) Minneapolis ‘Resident’ Tribute to the Music of Prince. This Prince Tribute in particular, is the only one of its kind with Prince himself in attendance for the band’s opening night at the historic First Avenue (home of the movie Purple Rain) for his personal approval of the show in August of 2006. 

State Street Theater will host a 5 p.m. pre-concert private reception at the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame, 27 N. Broadway, New Ulm, just two blocks from the theater. The reception is included with the $40 concert ticket. General admission is $30 ticket for the concert. Outside theater doors open at 6 p.m., with auditorium doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Those with reception tickets may enjoy a tour of the museum featuring many of Minnesota’s artists, such as Bob Dylan, Lori Line and more.
