NEW ULM -- A group of bow hunters recently took to the woods as guests of Dave and Carol Strenge on their land near Cambria. The hunters are graduates of a program offered by Ardent Archers, an affiliate of Wounded Warriors. The organization caters to both veterans and civilians interested in outdoor activities. The group of 7 hunters bagged a lot of fun and great experiences, but unfortunately, no deer. In New Ulm, Perkins treated the group to lunch on Saturday, December 16. Ardent Archers is planning a turkey hunt in the area in spring of 2024.
