State Street Theater hosing auditions for ‘WhoDunit…and to Whom?’

State Street Theater (SST) is seeking a cast for it's next play "WhoDunit…and to Whom?"

The play is a spoof of classic murder mysteries. In the play paint salesman, Harold Finnegan, is trying to write a third-rate detective story on his typewriter. As he writes, seen are the actions played out by actors on stage. As he corrects his writing, the actors are forced to revise their actions. Strange characters keep cropping up with the power to stop the play and freeze the other characters. Who really is writing this play anyway? Is it Harold has he lost control of his own thoughts?

State Street need a cast of 6 men, 9 women; plus 4 roles that can be either. One young female character is needed to do a Russian accent. The performances will be Fri., Sat., and Sun., April 12, 13, and 14.

Auditions are for all levels and abilities. Audition times will be:

• Monday, Jan 22nd at 6:30 PM

•Thursday, Jan 25th at 6:30 PM

• Saturday, Jan 27th at 9:30 AM

Auditions will take place at 1 N State Street, New Ulm. Use the back parking lot directly off Center and Washington Streets. Enter stage door #7.
