The second Sunday in December is designated as World Wide Candle Lighting to unite famnily & friends around the globe to honor the memory of our sons, daughters, brothers, sisters and grand children gone too soon. Each world area lights their candles at 7:00 pm in their respective area so there is a world wide 24 hour wave of light.
South Central MN Chapter will host a local candle lighting at 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10t at Held at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 701 South Broadway, New UIm.
A Pot Luck is at 6:00 pm with the CandleLighting & program at 7 p.m. This includes live music, poems, helpful personal insights and loved one's slide show of pictures. There will be craft items available for families to make a Memorial Ornament as well as the picture button maker.
