MEA Weekend Activities – Regular admission / memberships apply:

Open gym basketball and volleyball Rec Center Courts 1 and 3 from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Open Pickleball Rec Center Court 2 9:30 to 2:30 and 6:30 to 9 p.m.

Open Swim, Rec Center Indoor pool 1 to 5 p.m.

Open Skate Civic Center North Arena 11:15 a.m.to 1 p.m.

General Open Hockey Civic Center North Arena 1:15 to 2:30 p.m.

Floating Pumpkin Patch – search the pool’s pumpkin patch for the perfect pumpkin, then deck it out at a decorating station (supplies are provided). Enjoy games and activities in and out of the pool. Friday, October 27 from 4 to 8 p.m. Admission $10 per child without a membership or $5 for children with membership. Adult membership or daily fee applies.

New 2023-24 Adult Tennis League is competitive, fun and provides a great workout. Sign up as an individual, but play doubles, as scheduled. Each player must provide racquet, but balls are provided. View league rules online at or contact lizm@newulmmn.gov Fee is $40 Resident or $44 Non-resident. Registration deadline is October 31. Schedules emailed by November 3 for games beginning November 7. This is a 6-week session.

2023-24 Adult Volleyball Leagues begin in November for this self-officiated league. Registration forms available online and at the Rec Center.

Volleyball Open Gym Saturdays and Sundays 1 to 5 p.m. through October 29. Daily admission, punch card or membership fees apply. Schedule subject to change. Please check current schedule online at newulmmn.gov

Hermann Monument is closed for the season.

Park restrooms and shelters are closed for the season (except Harman Park).

Swim Lessons will be offered Saturdays, October 28 through December 2 (no lessons on November 25). Register online.

Youth Pottery and Ceramics classes offered various times in October, November and December. Register online.

Latex Allergies are more common than peanut allergies and prevalent in about 6% of the population. Many products contain latex, including balloons, which are the number one cause for anaphylaxis. There are several individuals in our community with severe latex allergy. Refrain from bringing latex items into our parks and facilities.
