Magician, mentalist and New Ulm Native to appear on SST Stage
Daniel Jaspersen, a graduate of Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School and Bethany College, is bringing his magician and mentalist act to State Street Theater.
Jaspersen will be the headline act at State Street Theater on Saturday, Oct. 21.
Jaspersen was trained by a con artist, but swore to only use his powers for good. Thanks to his uniquely blended background in magic, linguistics, psychology, juggling, traditional and experimental theatre, Jaspersen transcends the traditional definition of “magician.”
The opening act at 7 p.m. will be the musical duo, The Cousins. Joy Ciaffoni and Angie Anderson are an acoustic duo, performing folks-style music, singing a mix of originals and coves. Their emotional and lighthearted music will move hearts and touch souls.Angie resides in New Ulm and Joy in Moorhead.
Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. They can be purchased at New Ulm Hy-Vee, New Ulm Chamber of Commerce, online at statestreetnewulm.org or at the theater box office, Door 7, Monday through Friday, between 9 a.m. and noon, or by calling 507-359-9990.
