New Ulm Area Foundation Announces Fall Grants

New Ulm Area Foundation, Inc. announced the awarding of grants from its Fall 2023 granting cycle. The Foundation received numerous well-written applications. Grants totaling $25,664 were approved by the Board of Directors as follows:

•$10,000 to The Grand Center for Arts & Culture to support art therapy programming and expanded outreach

•$2,200 to New Ulm Economic Development Authority's Westridge Place for tenant support equipment

•$1,500 to Lind House Association for a replacement flagpole, US flag, lighting, and installation

The following grant was made possible from the Dr. James & Jane Seifert Fund: $5,000 to Jr. Achievement for 2023-24 sequential programming and BizTown attendance.

The following grant was made possible from a generous contribution by Roger & Carol Ryberg: $3,000 to ProMusica Minnesota for the 2023-24 Chamber Music Concert Series

Additionally, NUAF is awarding $3,964 from its endowed scholarship fund to Network New Ulm Youth Leadership Program for 2023-24.
