NEW ULM -- Allina Health Foundation benefitting New Ulm Medical Center recently awarded 32 scholarships to area college students pursing a degree in nursing or a healthcare related field, with a total of $152,396 in funding.
A special scholarship event was held for students NUMC, Thursday.
Charlotte West Anderson Scholarship recipients were awarded to Ellie Bute (Occupational Therapy), Jaden Domeier (Radiology Technician), Samantha Guldan (Orthotics & Prosthetics), Rachel Hohensee (Biomedical Sciences), Kya Krzmarzick (Speech-Language Pathologist), Hannah Panitzke (Physician Assistant), Jessica Petersen Kral (Physical Therapy), Sarah Preisinger (Occupational Therapy), Mark Schommer (Biomechanics), Lauren Schueler (Occupational Therapy), Emily Weiss (Pharmacy), Madyson Digmann (Nursing), Annie Edwards (Nursing), Kaiya Gieseke (Occupational Therapy), Gabriella Helget (Pharmacy), Julia Helget (Speech Communication Sciences and Disorders), Abigail Hoffmann (Nursing), McKenzie Lauwagie (Biomedical Sciences), Hannah Marzinske Roux (Physician Assistant), Morgan Ranweiler (Nursing), Jaeli Richert (Physical Therapy Assistant), Anna Schoo (Medical School), Kyle Strate (Medical School), Tyler Walls (Chiropractic) and Joshua Wenninger (Exercise Science)

Carol Ryberg Scholarships were awarded to Justin Bruns (Nurse Practitioner) and Lauren Mages (Nursing).
The Dr. Marc and Lori Burkhart Scholarship recipient was Madison Suess (Medical School).
The Kay Witt Scholarship recipient was Danyel Haime (Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner)
