Cathedral organ concert

NEW ULM — The Cathedral Concert Series continues on Friday, OCT. 18 at 7 p.m. Michael Mills, a graduate organ student at the University of Kansas, will be giving an organ recital at the Cathedral. The program includes music from J. S. Bach, Vincent Dubois, and Max Reger. Admission is free, but free-will offerings are encouraged.

Courtland Halloween Party

COURTLAND — The Courtland Lions Club, assisted by the Immanuel Lutheran School students, will hold its annual Halloween Party for ages 0-9 years old on Saturday, Oct. 26 at the Courtland Community Center. Come and go from 2 to 4 p.m.

Costumes are optional (no masks, please). There will be games and a sensory area, crafts, prizes, a bag of goodies, and a snack. A Courtland Fire Department truck will be available for photos.

The Lions ask that people bring an item to donate to the local food shelf.

ECFE Community Halloween Party scheduled Oct. 25

NEW ULM — Join ECFE on Friday, October 25th for its annual Halloween Party. The party features art activities, exciting games, Halloween tattoos, and treats. The New Ulm Park and Recreation program will be bringing their bounce house and Happy Joe’s will have pizza and drinks for purchase. ECFE provides a fun Halloween photo backdrop, so have your camera ready!

All children ages infant-6 years old, and their parents/guardians, are invited to attend this fun event. An adult must accompany all children attending for the entire evening. Costumes are optional, but please no masks or weapons.

The ECFE Community Halloween Party will be held on Friday, Oct. 25 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Jefferson Elementary School. The cost for this event is $4 per child ($8 family max) and is open to all children ages infant – 6 years old. No registration is required; payment is taken at the door.
