New Ulm Police
• Reported a two-vehicle crash at 6:52 p.m. Thursday at Center Street and Highland Avenue. An eastbound 2007 Saturn Ion driven by Roan Phillip Scriver, 16, New Ulm collided with the rear of a 2014 Ford F350 driven eastbound by Michael Bradley Sprenger, 33, Comfrey. Damage was moderate to the frent end of the Saturn. There was no obvious damage to the Ford. Both drivers wore seat belts.
• Reported a one-vehicle crash without injuries at 3:38 p.m. Thursday at German Street South and 19th Street South. Darrell Bennit Hilbert, 76, New Ulm, was driving a 1989 Ford truck eastbound that was unable to stop due to equipment failure, ran off the road and struck trees. Vehicle damage was severe. Hilbert wore a seat belt.
• Received a report at 3:10 p.m. Thursday from Running's that a 40-year-old New Ulm man who is a convicted felon, handled a firearm, a probation violation. A report went to Nicollet County Probation.
• Received a report from Walgreen's at 4:10 p.m. Thursday regarding a 16-year-old New Ulm male with numerous previous theft violations be trespassed from the store.
• Arrested a 36-year-old New Ulm man at 12:53 a.m. Friday for third-degree DWI at Broadway and 8th Street North. He was also citged for no proof of insurance. A report went to the New Ulm City Attorney's Office.
