George Bruce Door

BLUE EARTH – Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office have ended the search for George Bruce Door after finding his body.

Door was found down a steep embankment on Highway 68 near County Road 50 near his van.

Door, 84, was reported reported missing on Sunday. He was last seen by his son around 8 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 28 at his rural Mankato home on County Road 16 a mile south of County Road 90.

George Door’s landlord lives in the upstairs portion of the home and reported that he and his black 2007 Chrysler Town and Country minivan, MN license plate HHL901, were gone later that same morning. The incident remains under investigation in conjunction with the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office. No foul play is suspected.
