Mayor leads New Ulm residents to the music of Dain’s Dutchmen

Night Friday as the Narren of New Ulm celebrate. The

Minnesota Twins contacted The New Ulm Chamber of

Commerce earlier this year and invited residents of New

Ulm to attend the game. More than 100 New Ulm residents

traveled by bus to attend the game. In the photo at

right, New Ulm Mayor Kathleen Backer dances with The

Narren. Herman the German (Bryce Boelter) and former

Twins and Oakland A's catcher, three-time All-Star player

and New Ulm native Terry Steinbach were scheduled to

throw out the honorary first pitch of the game. Look for
