Semi, farm tractor crash injures two

Sleepy Eye Ambulance also responded to the crash. Further crash information was not available Friday.

The Minnesota State Patrol responded to a two-vehicle semi-tractor crash with injuries on U.S. Highway 14 in Prairieville Township, Brown County at 12:21 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10. A 2012 International semi driven eastbound by Michael Raymond Deraad, 59, Lester Prairie, collided with a 1995 Case farm tractor driven eastbound by Randall John Krzmarzick, 67, Sleepy Eye. Deraad was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center, Minneapolis with life-threatening injuries. He did not wear a seat belt. Krzmarzick was transported to Sleepy Eye Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. Alcohol was not involved. The Brown County Sheriff’s Office, Sleepy Eye Fire and Ambulance assisted.
