BROWN COUNTY -- A 67-year-old Apache Junction, Az. man was injured in one-vehicle crash near the intersection of Brown County Road 20 and 260th Avenue, about nine miles south of Sleepy Eye Friday, June 30.
Nick Lee Meyer was driving a Chevrolet Malibu westbound on CR 20 when he left the road, traveled about 50 yards in the eastbound ditch, crossing 260th Avenue and entered a drainage ditch on the west side of 260th Avenue at 8:38 p.m. He was transported by Sleepy Eye Ambulance to Sleepy Eye Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries. The vehicle was damaged severely from being partially submerged in water, according to a Brown County Sheriff’s Office news release.
