SSTC Gala raises over $15,000

NEW ULM -- The State Street Community Theater's Fabulous Fifties gala on Saturday, Feb. 11, raised over over $15,000 in gross revenues.
There were poodle skirts aplenty dancing to the tunes of Robby Vee and his Rock-n-Roll Caravan. The crowd was actively engaged in the Silent Live Auction. The latter featured donated prizes: Dessert-a-month donated by Kathy Pettersen; two-day stay at a Spirit Mountain Chalet donated by Sid and Jan Deleo and Derek and Dana Shaver; a two-day stay at Zwei Haus, a bed and breakfast, with passes to various New Ulm activities, donated by Char Reinhart-Kalk; an appetizers and a wine tasting event at the Lind Haus for 20, donated by The Liquor Mart, Vinocopia Fine Wine and Spirits, and Ted and Jodi Marti; and dinner for eight at New Ulm's newest fine dining restaurant above Inspired donated by Chef Aron Bode.
The gala offered appetizers, including fresh popcorn and charcuteries; a dinner; dessert offerings at the Soda Fountain, live and silent auction, wine pull, bucket raffle and music of the fifties. Three door prizes consisting of tickets for two to SST's upcoming Kenny Rogers tribute concert on March 4, , two tickets to Church of Cash concert on April 22, and a gift certificate for a Date Night 2023-2024 Season Pass, consisting of tickets for three plays and five booked artists.
