EON names Tyler Berg as CEO

NEW ULM — EON, Inc., an employee owned, social and human services organization with headquarters in New Ulm, formerly known as MBW Co., announced on October 7, 2022, that the Board of Directors has named Tyler Berg as President and CEO of the organization.
Berg is a resident of New Ulm and has been with the company since February of 2018. He began his career in the social services field as a Direct Support Professional in 2008. Additionally, he has served as an Employment Advisor, Program Director, and Regional Administrator before joining EON as Director of Operations.
Berg, along with Brandy Schwartz, had been serving as the interim senior leadership team since January of this year. The Board was impressed with the performance of EON during this time and believes that Tyler has demonstrated the ability to lead the company in a way which ensures a clear focus on quality care for clients and support for employee owners, all the while guided by the Values adopted by EON.
In a statement from Berg, he said, “While in my past roles in the industry I had the opportunity to witness firsthand the barriers that our field faces. More importantly, I saw how our services make a positive impact in the lives of those we support. Witnessing the positive impacts in people’s lives are what motivate me every day! EON, Inc. has locations across the state of Minnesota and currently serves 209 individuals. Services the company offers include but is not limited to residential and community-based services, assisted living, home care, employment services and child and adult foster care.
