NEW ULM — Friday night was Homecoming night for Cathedral High School, and to kick off the celebration, an afternoon parade with a burgundy-and-white color scheme proceeded through downtown New Ulm.

The Greyhound marching band led students from the high school, passed St. Anthony’s to North State Street, down 5th Street North and turning onto Minnesota Street.

The city was able to cheer on members of the football team and wave to Homecoming King Miles Boesch and Queen Lily Brennan.

Later in the evening, The Greyhounds hosted its Homecoming football game against Martin County West.
