NEW ULM– The German Park amphitheater hosted the first weekly Music in the Park concert with a shade structure in place.
Bob and the Beachcombers played classic summertime beach songs, as the audience remained cool in the shade.

Park and Recreation Director Tom Schmitz said the steel work should be completed this week, but additional electrical components still need to be installed.
