The segment of Highway 19 between Winthrop and Gibbon was closed Thursday at 3 p.m., as crews work to make repairs to the roadway caused by erosion.
Traffic is being detoured to Highway 15, and Sibley County Roads 25 and 22.
The repair project for Highway 19 is expected last about a week.
