Dogs & Dog Care program available for area youth
NEW ULM — Youth in grades 3-12 are invited to join dog experts in a 4-H sponsored program that will introduce them to dogs. Five different sessions will cover everything from dog history and breeds to communication and training. You do not need to own a dog to participate. We will use activities, games, and more to explore “man’s best friend!”
Sessions will happen every other week from February through April at the New Ulm Public Library. Each session will begin at 6:30 p.m. and last 1 to 1.5 hours.
Session 1, Feb. 10th: Dog History and Breeds
Session 2, Feb. 24th: Dog Care and Welfare
Session 3, March 10th: Communication and Behavior
