NEW ULM -- Celebrate New Year's Eve in style as State Street Theater takes guests to the ballroom and banquet hall of Emperor Franz Joseph of Vienna, Austria.
SSTC is hosting a Black & White Masquerade Ball on Friday, Dec. 31 from 6 pm to midnight]. Guests will enjoy a social hour with Royal Favorite appetizers and cash bar and a royal Viennese dinner provided by the Imperial Austrian Kitchen. The evening will also include live music provided by The Jazz 10 Band, a dance floor, and live and silent auctions. At midnight, guests will enjoy a complementary champagne toast and balloon drop to ring in the New Year! Attire for the evening is touted as "Black tie admired, but not required".
Tickets for the New Year's Eve Ball at State Street Theater are now on sale at the New Ulm Chamber, Hy-Vee, and online at statestreetnewulm.org. Tickets are $75 and include appetizers, the formal sit-down dinner, all entertainment and activities, balloon drop and host-provided champagne toast.
The evening will take place at State Street Theater Co., 1 North State Street, New Ulm, MN. The handicap entrance is through the backstage door in the parking lot off Washington Street. Guests are asked to not park in the parking lot adjacent to the theater as that belongs to Emerson-Union Apartments.
