The 10th South Street entrance to Broadway was blocked off on Monday, and the stoplights were offline, in preparation for fire hydrant repair. The repair work is expected to be completed Friday, Sept. 24.

The traffic signal is out at the intersection because of its proximity to the hydrant. According to New Ulm’s city website, side street access to and from 9th South Street, 10th South Street and 11th South Street will be closed while the lane shift is implemented.
