NEW ULM — The Teddy Bear Band closed out this year’s German Park Concert in the Park series Monday.

The Teddy Bear Band was sponsored by New Ulm Park and Recreation, KNU and the New Ulm Public Library.

The Teddy bear Band is a Minnesota Music Hall of Fame inducted band famous for children’s music and getting the audience the play along. Many of their youngest fans joined the band on the performance stage for fun and games.

The concert began with the band asking the audience to wave their stuffed animal friends in the air. For children who did not bring a stuff animal, the band brought some stuff friends to borrow.

The Teddy Bear Band were the last performance for the Monday night concert series in 2021. This was the inaugural year for the new amphitheater. The German Park concerts are expected to start again next summer.
