NEW ULM — New Ulm Area Catholic Schools (NUACS) held its annual Fun Fair in Washington Park, Friday.

Kindergarten through third grade had the run of the park in the morning and the fourth through sixth graders took over the part during the afternoon.

Cathedral seniors were also in the park throughout the day to help run activities. The Fun Fair had several carnival style games and field activities. The Cake Walk was especially popular with the younger kids. Others prefered to use the playground equipment.

Lunch was donated by the Knights of Columbus and several students donated snakes to the Fun Fair.

The Fun Fair is an annual tradition. It is typical held inside the school, but was moved to the park to better spread out students. Fortunately NUACS is located next door to Washington Park, making it an easy change.
