SIBLEY COUNTY -- A 38-year-old Arlington man already facing six charges in Sibley County District Court stemming from a love triangle, was charged with escape from custody March 23 after allegedly failing to return to jail after he was discharged from chemical dependency treatment.
Bail was set at $10,000 cash or bond for Dale Martin Nelson II at an April 21 bail hearing on the charge. An omnibus hearing for Nelson, who is back in Sibley County Jail custody, was set for 11 a.m. April 29.
On Feb. 16, Nelson was charged with felony second-degree assault and making threats of violence, gross misdemeanor domestic assault, child endangerment, an order for protection violation and disorderly conduct.
On April 21, Nelson's bail was set at $500,000 without conditions ($100,000 with conditions) for the six charges.
