NEW ULM -- The Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School Speech Team participated in its first virtual speech meet. The meet was hosted by Loyola Catholic High School. Participants presented in their categories over video or emailed prerecorded pieces to judges.
Nick Pleiss and Andy Muske earned 4th in Duo Interpretation, Lili Mohror placed 4th in Informative Speaking, while Emma Niehbuhr finished 2nd in Extemporaneous Prose. Morgan Glowicki earned a 5th place showing in Storytelling, and Caleb Tomhave placed 1st in Original Oratory. MVL tied for 5th place overall.
