NEW ULM -- Council newcomer Andrea Boettger has defeated 4th Ward Councilor Larry Mack for the New Ulm City Council At-Large seat. The Councilor-At-Large serves as the council president.
With all New Ulm precincts reporting, Boettger outpolled Mack 4,013 to 3,372, a 54% to 45% margin. Mack will retain his 4th Ward council seat.
