NEW ULM — The New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce Willkommen Committee welcomed Ôrale’s Authentic Mexican Tacos & More restaurant to New Ulm.

The new restaurant at 1627 S. Broadway is operated by Dulce Guerra and her family. She runs the restaurant with her brothers, father and mother. Guerra said owning a restaurant was a dream of her mother’s that the family was finally able to make happen.

Ôrale’s is open 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday. It is closed Sunday.

Guerra said the family is still adjusting the hours to see what works. The dinner hours are currently the busiest. The most popular menu items are the loaded burrito and tacos. Recently the restaurant added nachos to the menu, and they are becoming popular as well.

Órale’s offers to sit down and take out. Currently, takeout orders are the most popular. About 25% of orders are online. Guerra said Ôrale’s is hoping to add a delivery option in the future.
