Email questions in
advance or at event
Although voters will not be able to attend in person, there are two opportunities to submit questions to the candidates. Questions will be accepted throughout the forum via email and by telephone. Voters can also submit questions in advance via email. That email address is lwvnewulm@lwvmn.org. Telephone numbers to call during the event will be announced during the event. Please indicate the name of the forum in questions submitted by email. By League of Women Voter policy, the identity of the person asking the question is confidential. Any questions submitted via email will remain confidential with all identifying information removed before the event.
Format of candidate
forums
The LWV MN Candidate Participation policy states that all forums will be held as scheduled, even if one of the candidates is unable or unwilling to attend. If one candi-date does not appear, the candidate in attendance will have an opportunity to express their positions on issues in their opening and closing statements and in response to questions submitted by the audience.
During the forum, candidates will deliver an opening statement, respond to questions posed by the moderator and deliver a closing statement.
