Biden takes Brown County

Klobuchar dominates absentee, mail ballots

Minnesota took part in Super Tuesday primary voting for the first time since 1992. In New Ulm, four polling locations—each in a separate ward—opened at 7 a.m. and closed at 8 p.m. Election judges reported a steady stream of voters, but no huge rushes. Before noon, each polling station had counted at least 70 votes. Ward 4 had the highest early turnout, exceeding 100 voters before noon. This year, the Ward 4 polling station was moved to 627 S. Washington, St. John’s Lutheran Church. Judges at this location said the church worked well for the primary and would continue as the Ward 4 polling location for all elections in 2020.
