Over 300 area youth took part in the first Day of Play of 2020. The Day of Play events is hosted by New Ulm Park and Recreation. Several inflatables were set up in the Vogel Fieldhouse including bounce houses and a maze (above). Kids could even practice their archery skills by firing blunted arrows at floating targets. The pool was also open for free swimming. The Day of Play events is held every season on days without school. Typically, the Winter Blast is held on Presidents Day, but this year it was moved to Friday because of a teacher workshop day.
