The New Ulm Area Foundation recently presented a grant for $5,000 to Junior Achievement. The funds will be used to support the attendance of local 5th and 6th graders at JA’s “BizTown” in St. Paul, where they will get to experience running a business or government entity, managing bank accounts, working as a team, etc. In the past, this has proven to be a fun activity, as well as a great learning experience.
