ST. PETER — An 18-year-old rural St. Peter man died in a farm accident near Norseland Wednesday afternoon.

The Nicollet County Sheriff’s Office got a report of young man trapped in a grain bin at 3:35 p.m. Aug. 14. Landon D. Gran was located deceased inside a grain bin. It appeared Gran had made contact with a piece of equipment in the bin and succumbed to his injuries, according to a sheriff’s office press release.

The St. Peter Fire Department, Allina Ambulance Service and Mayo One assisted the sheriff’s office.
